Questions for Chapter 2 Video Art:

1. In the 1960s television was considered "poisonous" due to Americans watching up to seven hours a day. If that was so, why did video art become popular?

2. Artists like Peter D'Agostino created shows to distinguish viewers from "experiential reality" and "television reality", but wouldn't this only be harmful because it would only draw the audience more into the television?
